DESCRIPTION:

• V-neck, with buttoned front, side pockets, embroidered edges, side splits and matching handwoven belt.  

• Wear as a 'kaftan' or dress, with or without trousers and with or without a belt.

Materials & Craftsmanship:

• 100% Cotton (Oeko-Tex cert. from Omega)

• White super lightweight gauze weave with tonal check and diamond brocade pattern.

• Woven on the backstrap loom by Ángela del Carmen Gómez, Paraíso de Grijalva, Venustiano Carranza.
  

• Cut and sewn by Berenice Peralta, Mexico City.

SIZE:  UNISIZE (US 4–10 / UK 8–14) as worn by models in photos.

CONDITION GRADE: C/D

CONDITION DESCRIPTON:  The sewing and fit of this new piece is perfect.  The weave of the fabric is perfectly in tact, but sadly due to lack of oxygenation due to long-term storage, there is yellowing of the fabric along the seams and around shoulders.  Washing and dry-cleaning has only improved the yellowing slightly.  This is for over-dying and could be equally great in a darker colour or a tie-dye experiment.  Please see last 2 photos.
